Compassion in Action. Hope in Motion. At the KD Foundation (Charity no. 1188932), we believe in the power of giving, solidarity, and community to change lives. Founded by British-Moroccan chef and entrepreneur Khalid Dahbi, our mission is simple yet transformative: to bring relief, dignity, and opportunity to vulnerable people around the world. We provide essentials such as food, clothing, healthcare, education, and medication to those who need it most. Beyond immediate relief, we are deeply committed to environmental initiatives, tackling climate challenges and promoting sustainable solutions for future generations. Our Story The KD Foundation was born from Khalid Dahbi’s personal journey, shaped by resilience, generosity, and service. Having discovered his culinary passion in Italy and honed his craft across Europe, Khalid never forgot the values instilled by his late father, a compassionate public health worker in Morocco. His father’s legacy of selflessness inspired Khalid to use his own talents and networks to uplift communities. From volunteering to build hubs for children with disabilities in Switzerland to leading humanitarian kitchens in London, Khalid’s path revealed a simple truth: every act of kindness creates a ripple of change. The KD Foundation is the channel through which Khalid and a growing global family of volunteers, partners, and supporters continue this mission What We Do Over the years, the KD Foundation has stood on the frontlines of some of the most pressing humanitarian challenges, bringing hope and help when it mattered most: Disaster Relief: Provided emergency meals and comfort to victims of the Grenfell Tower tragedy in London and to earthquake-affected communities in Italy. Health & Frontline Support: Launched “Together Thank You” during COVID-19, delivering nutritious meals to NHS nurses and hospital staff. Fighting Hunger & Homelessness: Regularly serving London’s homeless communities with dignity, care, and nourishment. Empowering Youth through Food: Partnered with Jamie Oliver’s Ministry of Food to deliver cooking classes to underprivileged children. Joy & Dignity for Children: Brought gifts and entertainment to young patients at Great Ormond Street Hospital. Global Solidarity: Sent vital supplies to war-affected families in Ukraine and resources to schools in deprived areas of Morocco. Every initiative is guided by our belief that no one should go hungry, be forgotten, or left behind. Together thank you is a fairly new initiative with the aim of bringing a fresh smile and message of kindness to everyone around the globe. It was initially founded during the pandemic to shed new light on our future with hope and prosperity, especially for people affected by the crisis who are now struggling with depression and anxiety. We share a message of gratitude to every person suffering and battling these effects and this includes our heroes in hospitals and all other services at the front line of this pandemic. The pandemic is slowly coming to an end, but our mission is to emphasize the importance of mental well-being at any time, not only during a worldwide crisis. Our objective is also to say Together Thank You to the ones that deserve it, but often do not get enough of appreciation.
